HEADED ITEM: IEZ update

Members will be aware that the IEZ project is now being developed on a Regional basis through the Dublin Regional Authority and it is envisaged that the Regional approach will be launched in October 2010.

Local development of the project will continue. A meeting of the steering committee is scheduled in early October. The CEB have taken occupation of the former Property Path office in County Hall and it is planned to develop the public area of the office as an Innovation Centre with input from all the IEZ stakeholders. The IEZ area for participants remains open and will be closely linked to the Innovation Centre.
