QUESTION: Councillor C. King

To ask the Manager to arrange for the immediate grading of all windows in houses awaiting grading as some tenants are waiting to have their windows graded since last March and are being put at a continuous disadvantage to others as the scheme depends on how long you are on the list after grading is carried out?

REPLY:

Arrangement have been put in place to have these properties graded over the next 3 months.  This scheme operates under the principle of date of application and not date of grading, so the delay on grading will have no effect on their place on the list.  All the applications awaiting grading only applied in 2010 and the Maintenance Section is still dealing with applications dating back to 2008.
