To ask the Manager to detail the number of staff currently employed at each parks depot, to advise on how this compares with 2009 & 2008 and to list the parks and areas covered by each depot?

The following Regional, Neighbourhood and Local Parks are maintained by staff based in the respective Districts:
Tymon:
Allenton Park, Avondale Terrace Park, Ballycullen Park, Bancroft Park, Beechfield Park, Boden Park, Brookview Avenue, Castle Lawns, Castlefield Park, Delaford Park, Dodder Valley Park, Elkwood Park, Firehouse/Ballycragh Park, Greenhills Park Greentrees Park, Kilnamanagh Park, Orwell Park,. Rathfarnham Castle Park, Tymon Park , Whitechurch Park, Woodlawn Park.
Corkagh:
Ballymount Park, Corcagh Park,, Clondalkin Park (Clondalkin Sports and Leisure Centre), Killinarden Park, Kiltalown House Park, Kingswood Park, Knockmitten Park, Butler McGee Park, Jobstown Park, Saggart/Rathcoole Park,. Sean Walsh Park.
Esker:
Airlie Heights Park, Ballyowen Park, Beech Park, Collinstown Park, St. Cuthberts Park, Glenaulin Park, Grand Canal Park, Griffeen Valley Park, Hermitage Park, Hillcresct Park, Waterstown Park, Lucan Village Park, Neilstown Park, Sarsfield Park,, Willsbrook Park..
In addition to the foregoing public parks, the public open spaces associated with the Housing Estates in charge of the Council are also maintained by staff based in these Districts.
As can been from the above table, staff numbers employed in the Parks Department have fallen in the current year due primarily to retirement.
