MOTION NO.13

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That this Council expresses its continuing dissatisfaction with the amount of money received by South Dublin from the Local Government Fund and requests the Manager to again bring to the attention of the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government the fact that this Council should be treated on equal terms, in terms of the LG Fund per head,  with Councils of similar characteristics such as Fingal. 

REPORT:

Representations outlining the concerns of members about the local government fund allocated to South Dublin County Council will be conveyed to the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government if the motion is passed.
