QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"To ask the Manager to inform this Committee if the Parks Dept will continue to cut the grass on Bishops Field at the 168th St Aengus Scouts Den and when will ownership of this site pass to the H.S.E.?" 

REPLY:

It was previously agreed at the Council Meeting on the 8^th December 2008 that this area referred to as “The Bishop’s Field”would be disposed of by the Council to the Health Services Executives (HSE).  However, the HSE has informed the Council that it is no longer in a position to proceed with this arrangement.

The Council will continue to maintain the area until such time as an alternative arrangement is made.
