QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to arrange for the immediate clean up of the laneway between St. Brendan's Crescent and St. James' Road in Greenhills and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The laneway in question between St. Brendan's Crescent and St. James' Road in Greenhills was inspected by the local Litter Warden who reports that some bags and white goods were found which have now been listed for removal by the Cleansing Section.  He reports that no evidence was found to support a fine or prosecution.

This is one of a number of laneways in the area that are regularly patrolled by the Litter warden who arranges for material to be removed by the Cleansing Section as necessary.
