MOTION: Councillor S. Crowe

p11 0.2 Core Strategy paragraph 3 - insert, 'the tackling of inequality, discrimination and disadvantage in order to enable all citizens and communities to participate fully and equally in society' after 'renewable energy.'

REPORT:

The proposed amendment is considered reasonable, having regard to the recognition of the social, economic and physical dimensions of development as noted elsewhere  in the plan.

 

Manager’s Recommendation:

That Section 0.2 Core Strategy third paragraph be amended to insert, 'the tackling of inequality, discrimination and disadvantage in order to enable all citizens and communities to participate fully and equally in society' after 'renewable energy.'
