MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

That the traveler site at Owendoher Haven is NOT extended in the development plan 2010-2016

REPORT:

Table 1.2.2 reflects the existing caravan parks within South Dublin and is a statement of fact. Additions/ expansions to traveler accommodation is a function of the traveller accommodation programme which is determined separately by the Council.  In essence this motion is not relevant to the Development Plan.  It must be noted that  Development Plan policy cannot be negative in its intent.

That this motion not be adopted.
