REPORT OF TALLAGHT AREA COMMITTEE MEETING (2)

REPORT:
The following Emergency Motion was proposed by Cllr M. Corr, seconded by Cllr E. Maloney and passed at the Tallaght Area Committee Meeting (2) held on 26th April 2010:
"That this Committee calls on South Dublin County Council to write to the Minister for Education demanding an immediate commitment not to withdraw its contribution of €24,000.00 required to fund the School Support Programme in Jobstown Community College in light of its tremendous success and positive impact on the school and wider community in Jobstown. "
If this Report is noted by the Council, a letter will be issued to the Minister for Education expressing the Member's views on this matter.
The following Emergency Motion was proposed by Cllr E. Maloney, seconded by Cllr S. Crowe and passed at the Tallaght Area Committee Meeting (2) held on 26th April 2010
"That this Committee opposes any further reduction in the bus service within Tallaght, resulting from the proposed review of services by Dublin Bus"
