MOTION: Councillor G. Kenny

That this council writes to the Minister for Health to ask why LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) has not been prescribed for general use in Ireland. LDN helps with autoimmune related illnesses like MS, Crohn's, Cancer and many many more. The drug is available and approved in 50mg doses for the past 25 years in the state. LDN in small dosages of 4.5 MG is proven to beneficial to those who are suffering from cancerous illnesses.
