QUESTION NO. 1
QUESTION: Councillor E. Coburn
"To ask the Manger what plans are in place for a tidy up of litter along the roads within the Rathfarnham Area, in particular the roads between the Grange Golf Club and the M50?"
REPLY:
The roads from Grange Golf Club back to the M50 (all main roads) are Taylor’s Lane, Scholarstoown Rd, Ballyboden Way & part of Killinney Rd and a survey of these roads carried out on Wednesday, 7th April confirmed that these roads are in excellent condition & practically litter free. The scheduled sweeping information for these roads is as follows:
Last Sweep Next Scheduled Sweep
Taylor’s Lane: 29/3/10 28/4/10
Scholarstown Rd: 15/3/10 14/4/10
Ballyboden Way: 15/3/10 14/4/10
Killinney Rd: 19/3/10 19/4/10
The local Anti-Litter Warden will continue to monitor these areas and will arrange any additional clean-ups as required.
