REPORT
Report on: Air Quality Management Plan
A Regional Draft Air Quality Management plan was prepared and presented to a joint meeting of the relevant Strategic Policy Committees of the four Dublin Local Authorities on 16th December 2008 during which detailed discussions took place. Following on from these discussions the next stage in the Statutory Process was to arrange Public Consultation on the Draft Plan.
The Draft plan was presented to the three Area Committees and the Environment SPC Meeting in 2009.
Following the process of Public Consultation some minor changes were incorporated into the Final Draft which is now being presented to the April Council Meeting for adoption. The adoption of the Air Quality Management Plan is a reserved function of the elected Council.
In accordance with Section 131 Local Government Act 2001 this Council hereby resolves to adopt the Air Quality Management Plan 2009 to 2012.
