MOTION: Councillor R. Dowds, Councillor T. Ridge

That this Council agrees to contact the RPA to get them to do a presentation on alterations to the route of Metrowest.

REPORT:

South Dublin County Council have been engaged in ongoing meetings with the RPA in relation to the Metrowest Scheme and the members approved the Section 49 Scheme in this regard at the March 2009 Council meeting. Should the motion be passed the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) will be invited to present a briefing to the Council at a convenient and appropriate time, concerning the most up to date Metro West alignment details.
