QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager to write to the new Minister for Social Protection to request that welfare payment be spread out over the five working days so as to mitigate the serious problems of excessively-long queues and delays arising in many of our county's post offices?

If the question is approved a letter will issue to the Minister for Social Protection conveying the members' sentiments.
