APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE CAPITAL LOAN AND SUBSIDY SCHEME FROM CLúID HOUSING ASSOCIATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 6 OF THE HOUSING (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT, 1992 FOR 2 NO. DWELLINGS AT KILCRONAN, CLONDALKIN, DUBLIN 22

REPORT:

An application has been received from Clúid Housing Association for a loan in the sum of €552,174.27 in respect of  2 no. dwellings at Kilcronan, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.  The Association is an approved Voluntary Body under Section 5 of the Housing Act, 1988.

Under Section 6 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1992 the granting of assistance under the Capital Loan and Subsidy Scheme is a reserved function of the Council and is subject to the approval of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

Accordingly, the following motion is required:

"That this Council recommends that the application for a loan in the sum of €552,174.27 under the Capital Loan and Subsidy Scheme to Clúid Housing Association for 2 no. dwellings at 17 Kilcronan Grove and 78A Kilmahuddrick Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 in accordance with the requirements of Section 6 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1992 be approved."
