MOTION NO. 11
MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart
"That the Manager refer the entrance road to Orlagh Grove (from the roundabout at Scholarstown to the shops) to the TMM with a view to agreeing double yellow lines for the area to prevent parents collecting their children from school mounting the grass verge and damaging it."
REPORT:
The parking problems experienced at this location was as a result of the upgrade works at the Scholarstown/M50 Interchange and ever since the works were completed a couple of weeks ago there has not been any problems with parking. During A recent site visit, there was no evidence of parking on the green margin.
There are currently sections of double yellow lines around the shops to encourage orderly and safe parking at the shops as there is a shortage of parking at this location.
