The Council at its meeting on 11^th January 2010 approved the disposal of a site at New Nangor Road comprising 1710 square metres or thereabouts, as shown on Drawing Number LA/35/09 at a consideration of €160,000.00 to Dr Jim MacCarthy, 69 Bushy Park Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6.

Dr Jim MacCarthy has requested that his wife be included as a joint purchaser.  Therefore it is proposed to revise the name of the purchaser from Dr Jim MacCarthy to Dr. James (otherwise Jim) MacCarthy & Catherine (otherwise Katie) MacCarthy.  All other conditions to remain unchanged.

I recommend in accordance with Section 211 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000, Section 88 of the Housing Act, 1966 and subject to the provisions of Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001, that the Council agrees to revise the name of the purchaser from Dr Jim MacCarthy to Dr. James (otherwise Jim) MacCarthy and Catherine (otherwise Katie) MacCarthy as joint purchasers, 69 Bushy Park Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6.

The land being disposed of is part of lands acquired from Deansrath Investment Co in 1972 for Housing purposes.
