MOTION: Councillor P. Kearns

That the Parks Department arrange an inspection of the trees on Cypress Park as a matter of urgency. 

REPORT:

The Parks Department will arrange an inspection of the trees in Cypress Park in the coming days.  As the arboricultural programme is now almost concluded for the current season, any trees in Cypress Park that are identifed for pruning or removal will be put forward for priority attention when the arboricultural programme resumes in November. However, if there are any trees in need of more immediate remedial works in the interest of public safety, we will endeavour to accommodate these within the current programme prior to its conclusion at the end of March.
