QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to provide extra clean ups in Greenhills Park, a recent rise in anti social behavior has resulted in a major increase in dumped bottles and cans which are currently being cleaned up and removed by local residents?"

REPLY:

A clean up of Greenhills Park will be undertaken within the next two weeks and further cleanups will be undertaken as part of the routine maintenance of the park and as available resources permits. The assistance and support of local residents in removing litter is appreciated. If local residents have any information relating to the increased dumping, it would be helpful if they would pass that information on to the council.
