MOTION NO. 12

MOTION: Councillor S. Crowe

This Committee concerned at the condition of the lands including broken glass and litter alongside the containers of the changing rooms for Fettercairn Footballl Club and the impact and negative image this gives to young and older players, local residents and visitors to the area, calls on the Manager to investigate the possiblity of a regular or some intermediate cleaning of this stretch of private roadway. 

REPORT:

The local Anti-Litter warden has been requested to examine the specific area referred to in the Motion and report on the specific issues arising there.  Ownership of the location may have to be established before a specific course of action is decided upon but the relevant Council department of the owner of the area concerned will be requested to undertake regularly cleaning as required.
