"To ask the Manager to outline any plans to provide reverse vending machines in Council facilities in the Tallaght area going forward?"
REPLY:
The LA 21 forum group was in the process of contacting local businesses regarding the installation of reverse vending machines as per CMAS report documentsview
However the forum has since been informed that "Green town” the company that supplied the reverse vending machine, has ceased trading as of the 11th February. Therefore they will not be supplying reverse vending machines any more.
Research carried out thus far has not found any other company in Ireland that supplied Reverse Vendors.
