MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager outline what steps may be open to the residents of Loreto Abbey in light of recent developments concerning the developer of the apartments."

REPORT:

The Planning Department is pursuing outstanding planning issues at Loreto Abbey in so far as they comprise non-compliance with the terms of planning permissions granted.

It would not be appropriate for this Department to advise the residents with regard to pursuing their interests in this or any other matter.

In this regard it is suggested that they obtain their own advice, legal or otherwise.
