QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager to arrange for a litter clean-up of the area round the shops at Rosemount Shopping Centre, Ballyroan and to install a bin beside the bus stop, an area which accumulates a lot of litter?"

REPLY:

The location has been inspected by the Anti Litter Warden for the Area and was found to be generally clean.  The anti litter warden will continue to inspect the location as part of regular visits to the location.

We will consider this location for a litter bin in advance of the 2010 litter bin installation programme.
