MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager work with local Residents to come up with a long term solution to the fact that parked cars are ploughing up the grass margins on Orlagh Grove Road."

REPORT:

Parking on grass verges is illegal under the Roads Act 1993 and as such is enforced by the Gardai. Problems associated with parking at this location are largely associated with the ongoing upgrade works at the M50 / Scholarstown Interchange.  These works are now concluding and the situation will be monitored upon completion of these works.
