Re: Proposed disposal of site at Prospect Cottages, Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
South Dublin County Council to Brian & Linda Stephens
South Dublin County Council at its meeting on 11th January 2010 approved the disposal of a plot of land outlined in red on drawing number LA/36/09 with an area of 1370 sq meters or thereabouts, to Brian & Linda Stephens. (Managers Order No. LA/269/2009). (Minute No. H7(b)/0110 Refers)
As the physical boundary of the site was not clearly defined, a thorough and detailed survey of the site was undertaken. It was found that the actual area of the site is 1455 sq meters.
The Chief Valuer has recommended that the site be disposed of without any variations in the consideration being paid.
Accordingly, I now recommend that in accordance with Section 211 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 and subject to the provisions of Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001, that the Managers Order LA/269/2009 be amended to show a revised area of 1455 sq meters as per drawing
No. LA/36/2009 Rev. A. All other terms of the Managers Order to remain unchanged.
The land being disposed of is part of lands acquired from Julia Fox in 2002 for Housing purposes.
