QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to inspect the footpaths in Springfield, Templeogue and carry out repairs to the paths. The footpaths have not been repaired in over 20 years and this has resulted in many trips and falls particularly affecting senior citizens?"

REPLY:

The paths in Springfield were inspected as part of the countywide footpath survey. Repairs will be considered for this location in the current year subject to availability of the necessary funding and the prioritisation afforded to the location by the Area Committee when they consider the overall programme.
