To ask for a report on the operation of the CCTV cameras in Tallaght West, noting the concern being expressed in the community that the cameras are not being constantly monitored and will the report please detail what action is now being taken in the matter.

REPLY:

Local Garda Management are awaiting approval from the Garda Commissioner to monitor 22 Community cameras in the Tallaght area following a request from the principal stakeholders, Partas (15 cameras) and Jobstown Community Development Project (7 cameras).
