QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

To ask the manager to reinstate the grass areas on the open space beside Glendown Rd which were prepared for Outdoor Gym equipment which will no longer be provided due to cutbacks.

REPLY:

While there is curently no identifiable funding for the installation of the outdoor gym equipment on the Glendown open space, the Parks Department remains committed to this innovative project and are continuing to explore possible sources of funding.  If such funding cannot be identified in the short term, the prepared areas will be reinstated during next spring.
