QUESTION: Councillor E. Coburn

"To ask the Manager to please detail the traffic light changes that are currently underway at the junction of Butterfield Avenue & Marion Road, alongside Rathfarnham Shopping Centre. Who is responsible for the re-instatement of the terrain & who will be responsible for the on-going maintenance?"

REPLY:

Underground cables are currently being replaced and new signal heads and vehicle detection equipment are being provided at this location.

The contactor will reinstate the area when works are complete and it is the contractor’s responsibility to maintain the area in a safe condition in the meantime.
