QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager if a commitment could be given to repair the footpaths on St Brendan's Crescent in Greenhills as  quite a number of the footpaths in question are in a very poor condition and given the number of senior citizens who live in this area, if this work can be progressed as part of the Footpath Repair Programme and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

There is no funding remaining in the 2009 footpath repair programme. This area will however be considered for inclusion in the 2010 programme subject to availability of funding and prioritisation of the programme.
