That this Committee agrees,  in view of the new parking arrangements at the Square and the growing popularity and success of Tallaght Stadium, to call on the Manager to establish a review  to highlight and resolve any future problems involving potential parking and access  problems for residents living in the immediate area of the ground.

REPORT: The Council is very conscious of the need to minmise any inconvenience to residents in the vicinity of Tallaght Stadium when a match is taking place at the venue. Regular consultation and close co-operation with the Gardai has managed so far to keep any inconvenience and restrictions to a minimum.

Since the League Of Ireland season has just concluded for 2009, it is appropriate to carry out a comprehensive review of all matters relating to the operation of Tallaght Stadium, including the ramifications of the new parking charges at The Square. Arrangements are being made to conduct this review which is expected to take place within the next fortnight.
