The early stages concerning the formal process of lodging a Railway Order with An Bord Pleanála have commenced. Consequently, the Board requested a submission/observation from South Dublin County Council concerning the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement that will accompany a Railway Order once it is made. A submission prepared with the input of the Planning, Roads, Environmental Services, Parks and Community and Housing Departments was submitted to the Board, 8th September 2009. This report should assist the Board in determining the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement.
