QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to outline the work to be carried out at Kimmage Manor with regard to the capping of the stone pillars?" 

REPLY:

The design detail  for the construction of the stone pillars and boundary wall at Manor Grove / Priory Walk was undertaken in consultation with the Residents Association and is composed of prefabricated units of stone wall.  Construction was completed as agreed during early 2007 and the Parks Department have no plans for any further works at this location.  Consideration can be given to the provision of capping on the stone pillars as part of the Parks Department's 2010 Programme of Works subject to the identification of the necessary funding.
