UPDATED REPORT ON PROPOSED CONTROL OF PARKING BYE-LAWS

The Draft Control of Parking Bye Laws have now been prepared for public consultation. A report on the Draft Bye Laws was presented previously to each of the Area Committees earlier this year. Various comments have now been incorporated into the bye laws.

It is intended to commence the statutory public consultation in October with a public display of the byelaws for one month. Submissions may be made for a further two weeks. The Roads Department will facilitate enquiries and will meet with residents and business associations in relation to the Draft Control of Parking Bye Laws.

A report on the public consultation process will be presented to the members of each area committee following the public consultation.
