QUESTION NO.  8

QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"To ask the Manager could the small thin green area along 1-27 Orlagh Avenue at the M50 wall be cleaned up, the residents would like bark mulch from the council to stop weeds in this area?"

REPLY:

Much of the planting in this area has been put in place by the residents and its upkeep has generally been undertaken by the residents themselves.  The Parks Department will assist and arrange to provide residents with chipped bark mulch for the small green along 1-27 Orlagh Avenue when it becomes available in the course of the tree pruning/removal programme which commences in November.
