CATHAOIRLEACH'S BUSINESS

"That the Manager speed up the process of installing ramps along Whitechurch Grove, as a child has been injured by a speeding car in this area recently."

REPORT:

The Traffic Calming Programme (2) comprises 4  Schemes in each of the 5 Electoral Areas.  The selection of each Scheme is to be made by the relevant Area Committee.  The procedure being followed is that the No.1 Scheme in each of the 5 Electoral Areas is complete before work is finalized on the No. 2 Scheme.

With regard to Whitechurch Grove, it is envisaged that it will be late 2010 before design work is complete.  However, this is dependent on monies being available which is currently under review. Contact will be made with the relevant Residents Groups prior to commencing the design of the traffic calming scheme.
