Lease of land at St. Colmcille’s Way, Ballycullen, Dublin 16 to Ballyboden St. Enda’s GAA Club for the provision of dressing-room facilities- Variation to terms.
The Council at its meeting held on 12th September 2005 approved the lease of a site comprising of 0.226 Hectares at the Scholarstown/Killininny Link Road now known as St. Colmcille’s Way, Ballycullen to Ballyboden St Enda’s GAA Club for the provision of dressing-room facilities,- Minute No. C/00592/05 and Manager’s Order LA/230/2005 refer. The grant of the lease was subject to the satisfactory completion of the building on the site, on foot of a building Licence. The Club subsequently applied for a further planning permission for a smaller building than that originally proposed and for which planning permission had been granted as per Planning Reg Ref: SD02A/0641. Planning permission was subsequently granted for the smaller facility on 5/8/2008 – Planning Reg. Ref: SD08A/0175. The Club has now applied to the Council for the grant of a building licence and lease for a reduced site area within the area of the original approved site.
Accordingly, I recommend that subject to the provisions of Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001, and in accordance with Section 211 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000, that the Council now vary the terms for the disposal of a site at St. Colmcille’s Way , Ballycullen, Dublin 16 to the Trustees of Ballyboden St. Enda’s GAA Club noted at meeting of the County Council held on 12th September 2005 and approved by Manager’s Order LA/230/2005, to provide for the disposal of a reduced site area, within site area already approved for disposal ,comprising 0.179 hectares (1790 sq. m.) as shown outlined in red on Indicative Drawing No. LA/24/09, and subject to the following amended terms and conditions:
The terms and conditions otherwise to remain unchanged.
The lands being disposed of form part of lands acquired in 2004 from Christopher Jones, Maeve O’ Reilly, Christine Sullivan, Mary Paula Williamson and Clare Jones for open space/recreational purposes and from Colm O’ Brien in 1992 for roads purposes.
