That this plan reflect the support of the elected members for a County Museum, as outlined in the Motion by this Councillor agreed in 2007.

REPORT:

The Draft Development includes an SLO on the Clondalkin Round tower that states:

‘Provide for an integrated cultural facility, e.g Museum on lands at the Round Tower, Tower Road, Clondalkin in sympathy with, and complementary to the adjacent National Monument and including linkages to other community facilities.’

The above wording is considered appropriate and no change is recommended to the Draft Development Plan.
