MOTION NO. 326

MOTION: Councillor S. Crowe

That in view of the confusion and uncertainty regarding NAMA that will effect major aspects of this Development Plan for South Dublin County Council that the Plan will encourage and take cognisance of the Nama Strategy including  the probable sell off of sites and properties and agrees that the Council carry out an immediate assessment of the scale of and the possible exposure this will have within the Council area.

REPORT:

This is not a development plan matter, the development plan sets out the spatial policies and objectives for the County rather than commercial issues arising in the property market.

Recommendation:-

That this motion not be adopted.
