MOTION NO. 304

MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

That this Council recommends that the small open space at the end of cul de sac at Willbrook Lawn, Rathfarnham i.e. ALL green space adjacent to no. 29 and no 30 Willbrook Lawn – now in dispute with legal department SDCC re no. 30 – that all of this area be rezoned F open space to ensure it is maintained as open space as provided for when the Willbrook Lawn area was developed.   

Map of full area available in parks department if required or on mins of TRAC meeting on this subject.

REPORT:

No objection in principle to proposed re-zoning. However, the lands in question do not meet development plan standards as open space and are considered to be backland.

Recommendation:-

If the member's pass this motion the Draft Development Plan will reflect this change.
