2.5.8 Telecommunications

That in view of health and safety implications the plan excludes Tallaght Stadium and its immediate environs from any future telecommunications antennae and support structures.

REPORT:

Tallaght Stadium is located in the heart of the centre of Tallaght. The use of mobile telecommunications is an important element of modern life. The location of telecommunications attennae in the vicinity of Tallaght stadium is in principle conisidered to be appropriate not only in the interests of patrons and radio and television commentary but also in the interest of the emergency service communications. 

Recommendation

That this motion not be adopted.
