MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

That the following amendment be included in the written statement:-

P 304  - Schedule 7  -  Define careful consideration in following - Pylons/Masts – these are particularly prominent along valleys and careful consideration should be given to any such proposals.

REPORT:

This section of the Draft Development Plan is a description of the landscape character areas in our County.  The statement refers to the existing pylons that are in place within this landscpae character area and that consoderation needs to be given to vsiual amenity in the event of applcations for additional masts/ pylons.

Recommendation:-

That no change be made to the Draft Development Plan.
