MOTION NO. 166

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

In Section 3.2.5 add an additional Policy, after PolicyEE2 on page 147, as follows:

It is the Council's policy to recommend to the County Development Board that it takes responsibility to function as an Employment Task Force, to support employment in the County, and to support the Board in carrying out such a role.

REPORT:

It's not a function of the Draft Development Plan to ascribefunctions to other public bodies. This motion is not relevant to the Draft Development Plan.

MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that this Motion not be adopted.
