That the Plan in relation to Balrothery Estate Residential Development takes cognisance of the fact that residents have voluntarily maintained the upkeep of many lands in the area, that the residential amentities be protected and enhanced and agrees involve local residents in any future housing proposals for the immediate area.

REPORT:

The Planning and development Act 2000 (as amended) sets out the statutory provisions for the consideration of planning applications including public notification and participation. The proposed motion is not relevant to the Development Plan.

It is considered that the wording of SLO 75  as drafted is appropriate.

This motion not be adopted.
