MOTION NO. 282

MOTION: Councillor S. Crowe

That the Plan agrees to promote, encourage and facilitate pedestrians from Greenpark and Greenhills attempting to traverse the road and use bus services on the Greenhills Road by the introduction of a safe route across this busy thoroughfare.

REPORT:

 The proposed motion is not relevant to the Development Plan. Notwithstanding this the Development Plan in the ‘Connected Place’ sets out policies to promote access to public transport.

Manager’s Recommendation:

This motion not be adopted.
