MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

That the following amendment be included in the written statement:-

1.3.46.i Policy SCR60: Circus & Funfair Events

Add – excluding those circuses with wild animals.

REPORT:

Section 1.3.45 of the Draft Development Plan provides that Circus and Funfair Events will be supported in accordance with planning regulations, animal welfare and health and safety requirements. The issue of animal welfare is subject to regulation outside of the Development Plan.

Manager’s Recommendation:

It is recommended that this Motion not be adopted.
