MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That Specific Local Objective 5, Lucan-Church of Ireland School be amended to read as follows:

"Facilitate the expansion of the Church of Ireland school in Lucan, on a site of appropriate area in a location to meet the particular needs of the school community."

REPORT:

The existing SLO refers to a particular site. The wording of the proposed SLO does not refer to particular site and is not considered appropriate for inclusion as an SLO. Notwithstanding this the Planning Authority is supportive of facilitating the Department of Education and Science in the provision of improved educational facilities within the County
