MOTION NO. 122

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That on page 101 – 2.2.14 – penultimate paragraph, “ To respect the European Charter of Pedestrian Rights” be replaced by “ To comply with the European Charter of Pedestrian Rights(1998) as reproduced in Appendix  7.” And that the draft county development plan be amended accordingly.

REPORT:

The proposed amendment is considered reasonable.

 MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION:

Amend second bullet point in penultimate paragraph of section 2.2.14 to read:

• To comply with the European Charter of Pedestrian Rights (1998) as reproduced in Appendix  7.
