MOTION NO. 113

MOTION: Councillor D. Keating

LUAS ref. 2.2.11.i - To propose an amendment to the first sentence that will now read: "It is the policy of the Council to prioritise, promote and facilitate the extension of the LUAS to serve the Lucan and Palmerstown areas, and to convey to the Dublin Transportation Office (DTO) transportation strategy." 

REPORT:

The relevant section can be amended to include reference to Palmerstown as proposed, however, it is not appropriate to include the final clause of the proposed amendment.

 MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION:

Amend first sentence of section 2.2.11.i to read as follows:

“It is the policy of the Council to promote and facilitate the extension of Luas to serve the Lucan and Palmerstown areas.”
