MOTION: Councillor S. Crowe

That the Plan takes cognisance of the lack of mature trees in the County and agrees to introduce measures to protect and safeguard the current stock that are being vandalised in the County.

REPORT:

There are policies and objectives in the Draft County Development Plan, notably section 4.3.7.xiii , which seek to protect and maintain trees and woodlands.

 Manager’s Recommendation:

No change to the Draft Development Plan required.
